Indie Site header integration
The experience of going from Hallo.gent (the Gent-specific installer for Indie Site) and the Indie Site itself must be seamless. This is both in terms of flow and the visual experience.
To this end, integrate the Hallo.gent header to match the Indie Site header that’s currently in master.
-
Use new Hallo.gent logo for the profile image. Updated version per Stad Gent style guide: https://source.ind.ie/indienet/design/blob/master/assets/exports/hallo.gent/hallo.gent-square.svg -
Use the new Indie Site sans-serif interface font, Lato. Download link: http://www.latofonts.com/lato-free-fonts/ (Fonts will be embedded locally, not loaded from surveillance-based systems like Google Fonts, etc. We will only embed those weights that are currently being used to not bloat the download size of the site.) -
Make sure colours and dimensions of the banner match that of the header currently on Indie Site master branch (for reference, see https://source.ind.ie/indienet/site/blob/master/client/components/indieHeader.vue) -
Use new copy: -
Name:
Say “hello”
-
Bio:
To friends, the city, and the world from your own place on the Web.
-
Update Belgian-Dutch translation
-
Update: As per the discussion in #97 (closed), the new logo now adheres to the Stad Gent style guide in colour, font (Fire Sans), and use of the “accolade” symbol as a the pointer.
