When two non-private tabs/windows are open, signing out of one doesn’t cut off the socket connection on the other
## To reproduce
- Open two non-private tabs or windows
- Sign in on both
- Sign out on one
## What should happen
Both should immediately be signed out and the socket connections closed.
## What actually happens
Only the browser tab/window that you signed out of has its socket connection terminated immediately. The other tab/window continues to get messages.
If you refresh the other tab/window, only then are you forwarded to the sign-in route.
